My food wasn't bad. I actually enjoyed it. What bothered me was the owner. He was very rude to a new hire and then told the other waitresses what he said to her. She looked terrified. The guy kept giving me a look. It may have been my look of disgust for the way he treated his staff in front of me. He stands outside and tries to lure people to eat there. It seemed to work. His attitude is piss poor and enough for me not to go back. I wanted to help the new hire and tell her to do what makes her happy and not put up with his $&@!

FYI - No alcohol until noon at all places.

Not great. Stopped in upon spotting the $10 breakfast blackboard special which was eggs any way, bacon, grilled tomato, sausage and a slice of thick toast. It's been a while since I've seen what's considered a full cooked breakfast for this price, and it wasn't bad - ample bacon, poached eggs done right, fresh toast.

Coffee was terrible, looked and tasted like instant with no visible crema so we sent it back. The restaurant staff accepted our request with not too much trouble, although didn't seem surprised when we were confirming what they had actually given us. Second was marginal and slightly stronger -  Flat white, under extracted and milk not really textured at all.

Payment at the cashier at the end was curt, gentleman could have been friendlier, and didn't mention/explain the coffees. For the location in the center of the Corso I would have thought this place would do better. Judging by my experience and that of others, it seems I'm not the only one questioning how they are still operating.

Probably wont be back unless they make some changes. The breakfast was good (for the price), but the coffee was bad, and the service left something to be desired.

    Prime location, poor food.

Being in the Main Street of Manly this place definitely attracts customers due to it's location with tables mid-promenade, however that's really all there is to it.

Pineapple juice- out if a carton, extremely tart but watered down at the same time

Fish and calamari combo- horrible hard and dry chips and mediocre frozen fish, with two pieces of calamari rings. You'd get much better at a hot food store for half the cost

Scallops in white wine sauce served on salad- tiny over cooked scallops with very little salad, although presentation earns them 1 star

Banana smoothie- sister said this was their only saving grace

Service was pretty non-existent. You have to walk up to the cashier to pay yourself. Even then we were ignored, we almost wanted to just walk away.

Verdict: I wouldn't come back, it's definitely a tourist trap

Terrible service, terrible attitude from the manger and poor food. I should have read the reviews first as they were right. The mangers reprimanded his servers in front of guests. The time it took to get a salad was ridiculous and all they could say was they were very busy. Honestly, the place shouldn't be in business. It's a shame because they have such a great location.

We spent an hour waiting for a barely edible meal.  My 25 dollar steak was cold and the salad that came with it was just a few leaves and onion thrown together.  My father's fish and chips was 17 dollars and was about the same as the 7 dollars take away down the street.

Don't come to this restaurant,  it's a tourist trap.  Just buy some take away from the fish and chips shop just down the street
